Lodewijk de Vink

Lodewijk de Vink has spent his whole career in the health care sector, retiring in June 2000 as Chairman, President, and CEO of Warner-Lambert Company. He joined Warner-Lambert as President of International Operations in 1988, was elected President in 1991 and then Chairman and CEO in May 1999. Prior to that, Lodewijk was with Schering-Plough for twenty years, rising to President of Schering International. He served as a Board member of PhRMA and its chairman in 1995, and as a member of the Council of the IFPMA and chairman in 1998/99. Lodewijk was a member of Sotheby’s Advisory Board and Board of Directors of Alcon, Roche, Verizon, Royal Ahold and Flamel Technologies. Lodewijk is a member of Rothschild’s Advisory Council and Board of Directors of New York Philharmonic.
